New 2024 Volvo V60 Cross Country, Release Date, Price – Several options are available for the Volvo V60, including the basic gasoline V60 and the plug-in Recharge. Even though there are just a handful of direct competitors in the United States, including the Audi A4 allroad, the Swedish wagon has gone all out to wow us. Even though the regular T5 engine isn’t potent, we’re happy with it nevertheless.
Fortunately, the hybrid’s T8 engine produces 415 horsepower and 494 pound-feet of torque to compensate for the lack of a V8. Both drivers are frugal and have enough space for passengers and luggage in their vehicles. Like every 2024 Volvo V60, the cabin of this car is of the finest quality and equipped with every conceivable piece of cutting-edge technology.

2024 Volvo V60 Redesign
A few minor tweaks have been made to the 2024 Volvo V60 for next year. All Volvo models now come standard with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, auto-dimming side mirrors, and extra USB charging ports. The Momentum’s 18-inch wheels have been updated, while the R-glossy Design’s black exterior features have been added. No other details about the Recharge plug-in hybrid have changed.
Several earlier packages have been combined into newer options, while others are only available with a higher trim level. The Thor’s Hammer LED headlights will take precedence over the grille on the front fascia. Though it preserves the distinctive diagonal bar of the Volvo emblem, Its twin tailpipes are incorporated into the rear bumper, which has large, L-shaped taillights. For the Recharge, the wagon comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, but larger 19-inch wheels in a different design are also available.

Interior
For all we know, there may never be another Volvo that doesn’t have a lovely interior. All trim levels have large and well-appointed interiors, with genuine leather available on even the base model. Similar sophisticated technological elements are included in the entry-level Momentum, which is designed to improve comfort, convenience, and safety. It’s amazing that the Swedish engineers were able to arrange everything so well when you consider how much you get. It may take some time to get used to having everything on a single screen, but you’ll appreciate the lack of distractions once you get used to it. With each rung up the ladder, you have access to more and more features and services, as well as increased levels of luxury.
Engine
The standard V60 and the plug-in Recharge both have their own individual powerplants. The gas-fed wagon’s 2.0-liter turbocharged T5 engine generates 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. These powertrains are not available in the Audi A4 allroad or Jaguar XF Sportbrake, two of our favorite sporty wagons.Even so, it’s enough for getting about town in the V60’s big rump. All-wheel drive is not an option with the base automatic gearbox, which transfers power only to the front wheels.
The PHEV, on the other hand, is powered by a T8 system. Like the normal wagon, it has a four-cylinder, twin-charged powertrain. With the addition of electrical components, 415 horsepower and 494 lb-ft of torque may be achieved with the addition of electrical components, although it’s the same slick eight-speed automatic that moves gears in a true sports wagon thanks to the galvanic upgrade. All-wheel drive is standard on the hybrid V60 because of the extra power it provides.
